MOB OF THE DEAD — POP GOES THE WEASEL

1. 🔑 Get the Warden’s Key

The Warden’s Key can appear hanging near either the Warden’s Office or Showers.

Enter Afterlife, reach the electrical controls and shock them to lower the key. Grab it when you return to your body. The key lets your team open the locked containers needed for the plane.

2. ✈️ Build Icarus

You need five plane parts scattered around Alcatraz. Some require the Warden’s Key and/or Afterlife puzzles to access.

Bring all five parts to the roof and assemble Icarus.

Once it’s finished, board the plane and fly to the Golden Gate Bridge. When you’re ready to return, use the electric chairs on the bridge.

3. 🔥 Get Hell’s Retriever

You’ll want the Hell’s Retriever for later quest steps.

Feed zombies to each of the three Cerberus/dog heads around Alcatraz until all three disappear.

Then travel through the underground area and collect the Hell’s Retriever from its hidden room.

4. 💀 Collect the five blue skulls

Using Hell’s Retriever, collect the five hidden blue skulls around the map.

They’re located around:

Cell Blocks → Docks → Juggernog area → Warden’s Office/Speed Cola area → Roof

Once you’ve collected all five, a free Blundergat appears on the desk in the Warden’s Office.

5. 🥄 Do the spoon step

Near the Warden’s Office, find the movie poster inside a cell.

Throw Hell’s Retriever at the poster to remove it.

Enter Afterlife and go through the newly revealed passage. Shock the spoon symbol/object there.

Return to normal and go to the back of the Cafeteria. Throw Hell’s Retriever at the spoon there to collect it.

Important: You don’t actually need to finish the entire Golden Spork side quest. Getting through the required spoon interaction is enough for the main quest.

6. ✈️ Fly to the bridge THREE times

This is the part people often forget.

You’ve already flown once.

After returning to Alcatraz, collect the five fuel cans from the locations where the original plane parts were found.

Refuel Icarus and fly again.

Return.

Collect the fuel again.

Fly a third time.

You need three total trips to the Golden Gate Bridge before the prisoner-number step becomes available.

🔢 7. Enter the prisoner numbers

After your third cycle, head to the Citadel Tunnels/spiral staircase.

The number display should now be cycling through numbers.

Enter Afterlife and input these four prisoner numbers:

101

872

386

481

Sources differ on the displayed ordering because the four prisoner numbers themselves can be entered in any order; the game recognizes all four.

You also don’t have to enter all four during one Afterlife. You can revive and continue if necessary.

Once all four have been accepted, the display eventually changes and Brutus begins speaking.

🎧 8. Follow the audio logs

Now glowing headphone/audio-log power-ups appear.

Start at the bottom of the Citadel Tunnels and follow them one at a time toward the roof.

There are five.

Picking them up reveals what really happened during the prisoners’ attempted escape, with Stanley Ferguson narrating the story.

👻✈️ 9. THE FINAL FLIGHT

This time:

DO NOT refuel the plane.

Get everyone together near the roof.

Every player needs to enter Afterlife.

Go onto the roof while you’re all in Afterlife and interact with/board the ghostly plane. There may be no normal interaction prompt, so don’t assume it isn’t working.

The plane takes your Afterlife forms back to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Once you arrive, use the electric chairs to return to your bodies.

And now things change…

🐦 WEASEL VS. THE MOB

The game separates Albert “Weasel” Arlington from the other prisoners.

It’s:

🐦 Weasel

VS.

👥 Billy + Sal + Finn

There are two possible endings.

If Billy, Sal and Finn defeat Weasel:

🔁 THE CYCLE CONTINUES

But if:

🐦 WEASEL defeats the others…

🔓 THE CYCLE IS BROKEN
