Robin and Nightwing DLC Guide
By Caleb Irvin / October 6, 2026 / No Comments
“Right. Batman’s challenges are done. Catwoman’s challenges are done. Surely the two trained acrobats will make this easier.”
The Riddler introduces another set of campaign modifiers.
“I should have stayed in the Batcave.”
Robin and Nightwing’s packs let you play as them in Riddler’s Revenge, with different gadgets, predator objectives, and two additional maps each. These are challenge packs. Robin’s story adventure belongs to the separate Harley Quinn’s Revenge expansion. shared.akamai.steamstatic.com
This guide covers both characters’ ranked maps, their added maps, campaign progression, and the objectives needed for their four achievements.
1. What you need to complete
| Character | Ranked requirement | Campaign requirement | Added maps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Robin | 78 medals | 114 medals | Freight Train; Black Mask |
| Nightwing | 78 medals | 114 medals | Wayne Manor Armory; Wayne Manor Main Hall |
For each character, the ranked requirement means three medals on all 24 original maps, plus three on each of their two pack maps. The campaign requirement means all 12 original campaigns, plus their own pack campaign.
Medals belong to the character you earned them with. Completing Batman’s version does not complete Robin’s or Nightwing’s version. Extra medals from unrelated DLC maps cannot replace missing medals on the required maps. Fandom
A sensible order is:
- Normal ranked combat.
- Normal ranked predator.
- Extreme ranked combat.
- Extreme ranked predator.
- The character’s additional maps.
- Campaigns, once the individual maps feel familiar.
For predator challenges, earn all three objectives during the same attempt, then finish the room. Watch for the medal notification before moving on.
2. Combat challenges — both characters
The gold thresholds are shared. Your gadgets and fighting rhythm change; the score target does not.
| Combat map | Normal gold | Extreme gold |
|---|---|---|
| Blind Justice | 24,000 | 32,000 |
| Survival of the Fittest | 32,000 | 60,000 |
| Rooftop Rumble | 32,000 | 40,000 |
| Hell’s Gate | 32,000 | 48,000 |
| Funhouse Brawl | 60,000 | 60,000 |
| Prison Riot | 32,000 | 48,000 |
Robin’s Freight Train requires 32,000 for gold. Nightwing’s Wayne Manor Armory requires 60,000. GameFAQs
Build a combo you can actually keep
Start with controlled strikes and counters. Use an evade over an enemy when you need breathing room, then attack a reachable target. Avoid swinging at someone across the arena.
As the multiplier grows, add safe move variety: stuns, beatdowns, aerial attacks, gadgets, and special combo moves. A long, clean combo usually helps more than a complicated sequence that ends with you getting punched.
Ground takedowns leave you exposed. Use them when nearby enemies cannot interrupt you.
Handle dangerous enemies deliberately
| Enemy | Reliable response |
|---|---|
| Shield carrier | Stun, then aerial attack |
| Stun baton carrier | Evade over them and attack from behind |
| Armored enemy | Stun and beatdown; counter interruptions |
| Gunman | Interrupt immediately with a projectile or close the distance |
| Titan | Triple stun, beatdown, then use the riding opportunity |
| Lieutenant | Beatdown while watching surrounding attackers |
Blind Justice is your place to practise clean rounds. Funhouse Brawl and Survival of the Fittest Extreme demand more attention to large enemies. On Prison Riot, stay disciplined around shields and batons.
If you fall short of gold, first identify where your multiplier broke. Fixing that moment is usually more productive than trying to attack faster.
3. Robin — learning the kit
Robin’s distinctive tools are the Bullet Shield, Zip Kick, and Snap Flash.
| Tool | Main use |
|---|---|
| Shuriken | Interrupt enemies and create distractions |
| Remote Shuriken | Steer attacks; boost targets over edges |
| Zip Kick | Close distance, knock enemies down, or launch them off walkways |
| Bullet Shield | Block gunfire and perform a Shield Bash |
| Snap Flash | Plant an explosive stun device on an enemy |
| Explosive Gel | Set traps and demolish weak walls |
| Smoke Pellet | Conceal an approach or escape |
In predator rooms, distinguish a knockdown followed by a ground takedown from an instant knockout caused by a fall. Several medals require the first sequence.
For Zip Kick objectives, give Robin enough distance to perform the travelling kick. The short-range version can fail to satisfy the required move. CheatCodes.com
“A shield, a staff, explosives, and a flying kick. WHO ARE THESE TIBETAN MONKS, and why does their training apparently include crowd control?”
Robin’s normal predator maps
| Map | Three medal requirements |
|---|---|
| Meltdown Mayhem | Shield Bash: bash down, then ground takedown. Over the Ledge: hanging ledge takedown. What Goes Up: knock an enemy back down as they reach a ladder’s top. |
| Police Brutality | Bullet Shield: block bullets, bash that enemy, then ground takedown. Feet First: reverse ledge takedown from above. Smash Landing: glass-ceiling takedown. |
| Natural Selection | Zip Kick: travelling kick, then ground takedown. Blast Zone: weak-wall explosion knockout. Knock Knock: environmental Shuriken distraction, then silent takedown. |
| End of the Line | Shield Smash: bash someone off an edge. High Speed Impact: boosted Remote Shuriken knocks someone over an edge. Grate Moves: floor-grate takedown. |
| Lost City | Snap Flashed: Snap Flash knockdown, then ground takedown. Fire Hazard: extinguisher smoke, then silent takedown. Aerial Assault: glide kick, then ground takedown. |
| Top of the World | Zip Kick Off: kick someone off a walkway. Over the Ledge: hanging ledge takedown. Round the Bend: corner-cover takedown. |
These are Robin’s objectives, rather than Batman’s objectives on the same maps. Fandom
Robin’s Extreme predator maps
| Map | Three medal requirements |
|---|---|
| Meltdown Mayhem Extreme | Zip Kick Off: kick over an edge. Have a Nice Trip: slide knockdown, then ground takedown. Friends Fly Free: double ledge takedown. |
| Police Brutality Extreme | Shield Bash: bash knockdown, then ground takedown. Two for Two: simultaneously knock out two enemies using two separate weak walls. Smoke Detector: silent takedown on an enemy panicking in pellet smoke. |
| Natural Selection Extreme | Snap Flashed: flash knockdown, then ground takedown. Smoke Detector: silent takedown in pellet smoke. Crowd Control: one weak-wall explosion knocks out three enemies. |
| End of the Line Extreme | Triple Snap Flashed: one flash stuns three enemies. Fists of Fury: beatdown knockout. Over the Ledge: hanging ledge takedown. |
| Lost City Extreme | Shield Smash: bash over an edge. Snap Flash Trap: plant on a stunned enemy, then use the flash to knock down another enemy. Grate Moves: floor-grate takedown. |
| Top of the World Extreme | Bullet Shield: block bullets, bash, then ground takedown. Round the Bend: corner-cover takedown. Fire Hazard: extinguisher smoke, then silent takedown. |
Keep enough enemies alive for the multi-target objectives. Fandom
Robin’s hardest objectives
Friends Fly Free: Create a noisy knockout beside an accessible ledge, retreat, then hang underneath it. Wait for two investigators to stand together within takedown range.
Two for Two: Prepare two separate weak walls before disturbing patrols. You need a victim beside each wall when you detonate both together.
Crowd Control: Put a body near a trapped weak wall to draw investigators. Detonate when three enemies are within the wall’s blast area.
Triple Snap Flashed: Plant a flash on a guard, knock them out without detonating it, then wait for a group to investigate the body.
Snap Flash Trap: Knock a guard down, plant the device, and retreat. Let another guard approach before detonation. CheatCodes.com
For ordinary knockdown medals, use flat ground. Stairs and ledges can turn your planned ground takedown into an immediate fall knockout.
For Fire Hazard, use an actual extinguisher. A Smoke Pellet belongs to Smoke Detector; the two objectives are not interchangeable.
Robin’s additional maps
Freight Train — combat
The narrow fighting spaces make positioning especially important. Keep enemies in view, counter before committing to long attacks, and avoid letting the surroundings tempt you into reckless movement.
Prioritise keeping the combo alive through each fighting section. A broken combo costs more than a brief pause to choose a safe target.
Gold target: 32,000.
Black Mask — predator
| Medal | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Shield Bash | Bash an enemy down, then ground takedown |
| Zip Kick Off | Kick an enemy off a walkway |
| Window Pain | Takedown through a window |
Use the upper windowed room to arrange Window Pain. Complete Shield Bash where the target will stay on the floor, then use an exposed walkway for Zip Kick Off. 巴哈姆特
“The man just fell off a factory walkway. Apparently he’s unconscious. Gotham’s medical standards remain impressive.”
4. Nightwing — learning the kit
Nightwing’s predator tools reward careful aiming and crowd positioning.
| Tool | Main use |
|---|---|
| Wing Ding | Interrupt enemies and distract them |
| Escrima Stick | Knock down targets; ricochet through groups |
| Electrical Blast | Area knockdown or push enemies over edges |
| Wrist Dart | Body-shot stun or headshot knockout |
| Batclaw | Pull enemies from ledges or remove weapons |
| Line Launcher | Travel, kick targets, redirect, and wire-walk |
| Disruptor | Jam weapons and detonate mines |
Nightwing does not glide like Batman or Robin. Use his grapnel and Line Launcher to plan movement.
Save Wrist Darts when a medal needs multiple headshots. A body hit spends ammunition without satisfying a headshot objective. GameFAQs
“HOW DOES HIS CAPE WORK? Never mind. This one doesn’t have a cape. Finally, one mystery solved.”
Nightwing’s normal predator maps
| Map | Three medal requirements |
|---|---|
| Meltdown Mayhem | Bullseye: Wrist Dart body shot, then ground takedown. Fall Guy: Batclaw pull over an edge. Fists of Fury: beatdown knockout. |
| Police Brutality | Pound the Beat: Electrical Blast knockdown, then ground takedown. Grate Moves: floor-grate takedown. Mind Your Head: Wing Ding knockdown, then ground takedown. |
| Natural Selection | Stick Up: Escrima Stick knockdown, then ground takedown. Line Drive: hit an enemy during Line Launcher travel. Break Your Fall: drop attack, then ground takedown. |
| End of the Line | Head Shot: Wrist Dart headshot knockout. Weapon Jam: disable a gun, let its owner attempt to fire, then take them out. Knockout Smash: smash during a silent takedown. |
| Lost City | Stick Up: stick knockdown, then ground takedown. Kick Off: Line Launcher kick causes a fall knockout. Over the Ledge: hanging ledge takedown. |
| Top of the World | Bowled Over: Electrical Blast pushes an enemy off a walkway. Fall Guy: Batclaw pull over an edge. Grate Moves: floor-grate takedown. |
A body shot is essential for Bullseye. A headshot ends the encounter with that target too early. Fandom
Nightwing’s Extreme predator maps
| Map | Three medal requirements |
|---|---|
| Meltdown Mayhem Extreme | Triple Ricochet: one Escrima Stick attack knocks down three enemies. Rope-a-Dope: drop attack from Line Launcher wire-walking. Three Strikes: punch three different armed enemies. |
| Police Brutality Extreme | Triple Header: one Electrical Blast hits at least three enemies. Chain Reaction: kick two enemies during one Line Launcher pass. Confiscated Weapon: Batclaw disarm, then take down that enemy. |
| Natural Selection Extreme | Head Shot: Wrist Dart headshot knockout. Weapon Jam: failed gunfire after disruption, then knockout. Triple Ricochet: one stick attack knocks down three enemies. |
| End of the Line Extreme | Triple Header: blast three enemies together. Switch Hitter: kick one enemy, redirect the Line Launcher mid-ride, then kick another. Fall Guy: Batclaw pull over an edge. |
| Lost City Extreme | Bowled Over: blast over an edge. Confiscated Weapon: disarm, then knockout. Bullet Proof: complete the entire room without damage. |
| Top of the World Extreme | Triple Head Shot: three Wrist Dart headshot knockouts. Feet First: reverse ledge takedown from above. Mined Your Step: Disruptor detonates a mine beside an enemy. |
For Rope-a-Dope, stand on the deployed wire before performing the drop attack. Cutting down a hanging guard does not satisfy it. Fandom
Nightwing’s hardest objectives
Triple Ricochet: Gather three suitable unarmored enemies and aim until the ricochet targeting identifies all three.
Triple Header: Draw investigators together and blast the group while they occupy the same floor level.
Chain Reaction: Find two enemies aligned along one straight Line Launcher route.
Switch Hitter: Plan two intersecting routes. Kick the first guard, redirect while still travelling, and hit the second before landing.
Triple Head Shot: Reserve all three darts for clear headshots. Keep three suitable targets alive.
Bullet Proof: Restart after damage. Use isolated takedowns and retreat whenever the room becomes crowded. GameFAQs
Nightwing’s additional maps
Wayne Manor Armory — combat
Gold target: 60,000.
Treat the room as a combo-preservation exercise. Keep the camera facing active attackers, use gadgets to interrupt distant threats, and change targets when a dangerous weapon makes a frontal strike unsafe.
“Bruce invited everyone over, then apparently decided the armory needed a practical demonstration.”
Wayne Manor Main Hall — predator
| Medal | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Stick Up | Escrima Stick knockdown, then ground takedown |
| Fall Guy | Batclaw pull causes a fall knockout |
| Knock Knock | Wing Ding environmental distraction, then silent takedown |
For Knock Knock, throw the Wing Ding at the surroundings so the guard turns to investigate. Hitting the guard directly is a different action.
For Fall Guy, choose an upper-level target with a clear pulling angle. 巴哈姆特
5. Campaigns — both characters
Campaigns repeat ranked maps with compulsory modifiers. The predator medal requirements remain character-specific.
The original campaigns award nine medals each. Each character’s additional two-map campaign awards six.
In the table, EX means Extreme.
| Campaign | First map | Second map | Third map |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search and Destroy | Meltdown Mayhem | Blind Justice | Police Brutality |
| Street Justice | Rooftop Rumble | Natural Selection | Survival of the Fittest |
| Offensive Maneuvers | Funhouse Brawl | End of the Line | Hell’s Gate |
| City Invader | Top of the World | Prison Riot | Lost City |
| Combat Expert | Survival of the Fittest | Funhouse Brawl | Prison Riot |
| Predator Expert | Meltdown Mayhem | Lost City | Top of the World |
| Midnight Assault | Natural Selection EX | Hell’s Gate EX | Meltdown Mayhem EX |
| Hostile Takeover | Prison Riot EX | Police Brutality EX | Funhouse Brawl EX |
| Double Jeopardy | Lost City EX | Rooftop Rumble EX | End of the Line EX |
| Ruthless Vengeance | Survival of the Fittest EX | Top of the World EX | Blind Justice EX |
| Combat Master | Blind Justice EX | Rooftop Rumble EX | Hell’s Gate EX |
| Predator Master | Police Brutality EX | Natural Selection EX | End of the Line EX |
Robin’s Black Mask Campaign runs Black Mask → Freight Train.
Nightwing’s Wayne Manor Campaign runs Wayne Manor Armory → Wayne Manor Main Hall. GameFAQs
Choose modifiers around the medals
Read all three maps before starting. Every supplied modifier must be used by the campaign’s end.
| Modifier | Planning advice |
|---|---|
| Time Limit | Usually easier to absorb in combat |
| Decreased Health | Assign where you can reliably avoid damage |
| Gadget Malfunction | Avoid predator maps where you need reliable room information |
| One Hand Tied | Predator silent takedowns are disabled; check objectives first |
| Danger Zones | Predator vantage points become hazardous |
| Scattered Weapons | Combat adds throwable objects; predator adds mines |
| Protective Aura | Wait for protection to leave your intended target |
| Super Powered | Useful against combat armor, shields, and batons |
| Replenishing Health | Put it where survival causes trouble |
| Takedown Projectiles | Check that instant knockouts will not prevent a required follow-up |
| Free Medal | Reserve for a difficult objective you intend to skip |
On the first map, restart until you have a satisfactory result. Later failures consume your limited retries, so practise awkward objectives in ranked mode before committing to a campaign. Arkham City Part 2
Robin’s campaign pressure points
- Predator Expert: Lost City needs a silent takedown for Fire Hazard. Avoid placing One Hand Tied there.
- Midnight Assault: Decide whether Free Medal should cover Crowd Control or Friends Fly Free. Practise the other objective first.
- Hostile Takeover: Police Brutality Extreme’s two-wall setup needs preparation. Avoid modifiers that undermine your established approach.
- Predator Master: Police Brutality and Natural Selection both contain difficult group objectives. Get comfortable with their setups before attempting the whole sequence. Xbox One, Xbox Series
Nightwing’s campaign pressure points
- Midnight Assault: Preserve enough suitable enemies for Triple Ricochet.
- Double Jeopardy: Lost City requires no damage; End of the Line requires Switch Hitter.
- Ruthless Vengeance: Save the Wrist Darts needed for Top of the World’s three headshots.
- Predator Master: Consider saving Free Medal for End of the Line’s Switch Hitter. Xbox One, Xbox Series
“Three maps, mandatory handicaps, limited retries. Edward, have you considered a normal hobby?”
6. When a medal refuses to count
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Robin’s Shield Bash fails | Did the enemy fall off something before the ground takedown? |
| Bullet Shield fails | Did you block that enemy’s bullets before bashing them? |
| Zip Kick fails | Did Robin perform the travelling version? |
| Two for Two fails | Were there two separate walls and two separate victims? |
| Crowd Control fails | Did one wall explosion knock out all three? |
| Snap Flash Trap fails | Was the flash planted on a stunned guard and used against another? |
| Nightwing’s Bullseye fails | Was it a body shot followed by a ground takedown? |
| Rope-a-Dope fails | Were you wire-walking before the drop attack? |
| Switch Hitter fails | Did both kicks happen during one uninterrupted, redirected ride? |
| Weapon Jam fails | Did the guard actually attempt to fire the disabled gun? |
| Fire Hazard fails | Did you use extinguisher smoke and a silent takedown? |
| Knock Knock fails | Did the projectile distract through the environment? |
A medal objective is often a precise sequence. If the game awards no notification, assume the sequence did not register and preserve another suitable target.
