🌿 ZETSUBOU NO SHIMA — SEEDS OF DOUBT
1. ⚡ Turn on temporary power
Grab a bucket near spawn.
Fill it with water and use the water on the generators at Lab A and Lab B.
These generators provide temporary power and allow you to access more of the island.
Your immediate goal is opening the bunker.
2. 🚪 Open the bunker
Once both labs are powered, head toward the central bunker entrance.
Interact with the controls and enter.
Inside, you’ll eventually restore the map’s permanent power by completing the underwater turbine/power sequence.
Once permanent power is active, the bunker becomes your central hub.
💀 3. GET THE SKULL OF NAN SAPWE
Go to the ritual area and pick up one of the four skulls.
Each skull has a symbol corresponding to a ritual altar somewhere around the island.
Take each skull to its matching altar.
Place it down.
Defend it while Keepers attack.
When the ritual finishes, return the skull to its original pedestal.
Do this for:
💀 Skull #1
💀 Skull #2
💀 Skull #3
💀 Skull #4
After all four are finished, a secret chamber opens beneath the ritual area.
Go downstairs.
Survive the Keeper encounter and complete the ritual.
You’ll receive:
💀 SKULL OF NAN SAPWE
This specialist weapon is extremely important for the main quest.
🔫 4. BUILD THE KT-4
The KT-4 requires three parts.
🟢 Part 1 — Spider Venom
Go near Lab A.
Find the spider cage.
Lure a spider into it and activate the cage.
The machine extracts venom.
Collect the vial.
🟢 Part 2 — Green Plant
This piece is underwater inside the bunker.
Dive down through the flooded section and search near the bottom for the plant.
Grab it and return before you run out of air.
🟢 Part 3 — Zombie specimen
A special zombie will eventually spawn carrying the required material.
Kill it and collect the item it drops.
Once you have all three pieces, go to the bunker laboratory and build:
🧪 KT-4
🕷️ 5. DEFEAT THE GIANT SPIDER
Use the KT-4 to clear the large spider webs blocking the path near Lab A.
Follow the cave.
You’ll enter the:
🕷️ GIANT SPIDER BOSS FIGHT
Avoid its attacks and shoot its exposed mouth whenever it becomes vulnerable.
After enough damage, the giant spider dies.
Collect the Spider Venom from its body.
You can also interact with the spider afterward to obtain the Widow’s Wine reward if applicable.
⚔️ 6. UPGRADE KT-4 → MASAMUNE
You’ll need three upgrade ingredients.
🕷️ Ingredient 1 — Giant Spider Venom
You just obtained this from the spider boss.
🌱 Ingredient 2 — Special Plant
You’ll need to grow a plant using the island’s gardening system.
Plant a seed and water it using the required special water over multiple rounds.
Eventually it produces the upgrade ingredient.
🌈 Ingredient 3 — Rainbow Water material
Go through the sewer-pipe transportation route.
While traveling through it, collect Rainbow Water.
Use it on the hidden plant location inside the bunker.
Water the plant over multiple rounds until it produces the final ingredient.
Bring all three ingredients to the KT-4 workbench.
Upgrade your weapon into:
⚔️ MASAMUNE
🧍 7. COMPLETE YOUR CHALLENGES
At spawn, each player has a pillar displaying three randomized challenges.
Examples include:
Kill zombies underwater
Kill mutated zombies
Eat a fruit grown from a plant
Kill spiders
Use traps
Get headshots
Every player in the game needs to complete all three of their personal challenges.
When you’ve finished yours, claim the rewards from your challenge pillar.
Completing all challenges is important because it unlocks access needed for the Easter Egg.
⚙️ 8. FIND THE THREE COGS
This is the heart of the quest.
You need three giant machine cogs.
⚙️ Cog #1 — Anti-Aircraft Gun
You’ll need to grow the special plant that produces an artillery shell.
Take the shell to the large anti-aircraft gun.
Load it.
Wait for the cargo plane to fly overhead.
💥 FIRE!
Hit the plane.
The plane crashes/drops a cog somewhere on the island.
Find it and pick it up.
⚙️ Cog #2 — Zipline
Go to the zipline area.
You’ll need to use the electrical interaction/Skull setup associated with the zipline.
Ride the zipline.
At the correct moment, drop from it onto the normally inaccessible dock/platform below.
Pick up:
⚙️ COG #2
Solo: This interaction works differently than co-op, but it is still possible solo.
⚙️ Cog #3 — Mesmerize the wall
Use the Skull of Nan Sapwe’s Mesmerize ability on the hidden wall inside the bunker.
This reveals a secret area.
Go through and obtain:

⚙️ 9. REPAIR THE ELEVATOR
Take all three cogs into the bunker.
Find the broken elevator machinery.
Install:
Cog #1
Cog #2
Cog #3
The elevator becomes operational.
But don’t go down yet.
⚠️ BOSS-FIGHT PREPARATION
Before taking that elevator:
Get:
⚔️ Masamune
💀 Skull of Nan Sapwe
🛡️ Gas Mask
🛡️ Zombie Shield
🔫 Pack-a-Punched weapon
❤️ Juggernog
Make sure you’re stocked on ammunition.
When you’re ready…
Take the elevator down.
🌳 10. ENTER THE BOSS ARENA
You’ll descend into the hidden laboratory beneath the island.
And you’ll discover:
😨 TAKEO 1.0
The original Ultimis Takeo has been mutated and trapped by Division 9.
The boss encounter begins.
🧟 11. MUTATED TAKEO BOSS FIGHT
Huge mutated plant structures surround the arena.
Zombies and Thrashers attack continuously.
Use the Masamune on the large infected growths.
When a growth becomes vulnerable:
🧪 SHOOT IT WITH THE MASAMUNE.
Destroy the growth.
Survive the enemy wave.
Another growth becomes vulnerable.
Repeat.
You’ll need to destroy the required infected sections around Takeo.
The Skull of Nan Sapwe is excellent for clearing zombies when you’re overwhelmed.
⚔️ 12. FREE TAKEO
Once all the infected growths have been destroyed, the containment chamber opens.
Primis Takeo approaches his Ultimis counterpart.
After their conversation, Ultimis Takeo asks Primis Takeo to preserve his honor.
Primis Takeo grants his request.
Richtofen then uses the:
🔑 SUMMONING KEY
Ultimis Takeo’s soul enters the Key.
🏆 SEEDS OF DOUBT
EASTER EGG COMPLETE.
And you’ve now collected another soul needed for Richtofen’s plan.
