THE BEAST FROM BEYOND
By Caleb Irvin / September 21, 2026 / No Comments
Wait.
“Beast.”
Okay…
Where does this one take place?
…
🚀 A SPACE STATION.
🌌 OH, COME ON.
WE ALREADY HAD THIS CONVERSATION.
NOTHING. GOOD. HAPPENS. IN. SPACE. 😂
🤖 1. FIND N31L’S HEAD
At the beginning, the facility has no normal power and Cryptids are running around.
Head toward the:
🛰️ OPS CENTER.
Drop into the large central pit, but while falling, land on the ledge containing:
🤖 N31L’S HEAD.
Grab it.
Take the head back to the computer terminal in the Staging/Spawn Room and install it.
⚡ POWER RESTORED.
Yes, that’s N31L from Zombies in Spaceland.
Our little robot buddy made it all the way out here.
Into space.
Where nothing good happens.
N31L, WHY?! 😂
🌀 2. ACTIVATE THE PORTALS
With N31L installed, start opening the facility.
Go to the upper balcony in the Cargo Room and activate the button that opens the first portal.
That takes us somewhere familiar:
🎬 THE THEATER.
You’ll recognize pieces of the previous Willard Wyler movies throughout Beast from Beyond.
Activate the return portal there.
You’ll eventually need the portal network functioning because the Main Quest sends us through these movie fragments.
🌉 3. BUILD THE BRIDGE TO PACK-A-PUNCH
We need:
THREE BRIDGE PARTS.
Fortunately, these aren’t randomized.
🔩 PART #1 — WATER TREATMENT
Go up the stairs leading toward Medical.
Look near:
⚡ BLUE BOLTS.
The first bridge piece is nearby.
🔩 PART #2 — CARGO ROOM
Go into the lower Cargo pit.
Look behind the staircase leading back upward.
Grab:
BRIDGE PART #2.
🔩 PART #3 — MAIN STREET
Find the car near the portal.
Sitting on/around it is:
BRIDGE PART #3.
Take all three outside.
Repair:
🌉 THE BROKEN BRIDGE.
Cross it to reach the Portal Array.
And—
🌀 PACK-A-PUNCH PORTAL UNLOCKED.
🌀 4. OPEN PACK-A-PUNCH
Use the Portal Array.
You’ll reach the familiar:
🎥 PROJECTOR ROOM.
There’s our Pack-a-Punch machine.
At this point you can begin preparing your equipment for the eventual boss fight.
But first we need one of the weirdest tools in Infinite Warfare Zombies:
🌀 THE ENTANGLER.
💀 5. ENTANGLER — SKULL #1
Obtaining the Entangler requires completing the first two steps of the map’s Skullbreaker side quest.
Find a small electrical/fuse box.
It can appear in one of three places:
📦 Cargo Bay — above the stairs
💣 Ops Center — above Bombstoppers
💧 Water Treatment — above the doorway.
Use the map’s explosive interaction on the box.
It opens and reveals:
💀 A SKULL.
Hit the skull to collect it.
❌ 6. ENTANGLER — RED X CHALLENGE
Head into:
📦 CARGO BAY.
Look at the floor.
You’ll find several:
❌ RED X MARKS.
👤 SOLO
Stand on one.
👥 CO-OP
Every player must stand on a separate X simultaneously.
When everybody is positioned correctly:
❌ → 🟢
The marks become green circles and the defense begins.
Survive the sequence and complete the Skullbreaker requirement.
You’ll gain access to:
🌀 THE ENTANGLER.
This thing basically works as a supernatural tractor beam for quest objects.
And we’re going to abuse it.
A lot.
💾 7. COLLECT FOUR FLOPPY DISKS
Our next objective is:
💾💾💾💾 FOUR FLOPPY DISKS.
Some aren’t normally reachable, which is exactly why we needed the Entangler.
💾 8. FLOPPY — VENT PUZZLE
Near the hallway by Bang Bangs, look through the metal grate into the red maintenance area.
You’ll see a floppy disk back there.
Use:
🌀 ENTANGLER.
Move/fire the disk toward the grate/vent system.
It disappears into the ventilation system.
…
Oh.
Fantastic.
Now we’re playing:
💾 WHERE DID WINDOWS 95 GO?
😂
The disk can emerge at one of several vents around the facility, including locations around the red hallway, Medbay, upper platform, Spawn, and Magic Wheel area.
Search those vents and collect it when you find it.
👨🚀 9. FLOPPY — SPACE HELMET
Next, find one of the:
👨🚀 WHITE SPACE HELMETS
scattered around the map.
Grab one using the Entangler.
Carry it into:
🧪 CRYPTID AUTOPSY.
Use the helmet as required by the room’s interaction to obtain another floppy disk.
Again:
We’re solving computer security using a space helmet.
🎬 WILLARD SECURITY SYSTEMS™.
💾 10. COLLECT THE REMAINING DISKS
The four disks come from the map’s separate interactions, including the Phantom-related disk, snowy Pack-a-Punch/exterior disk, ventilation disk, and Medical/autopsy disk. The Entangler is required for the otherwise unreachable ones.
Eventually your team should possess:
💾 ×4.
Now—
⚠️ DO NOT JUST JAM THEM INTO N31L.
They have an order.
And getting that order wrong means more work.
🧩 11. READ THE SYMBOLS
Each floppy has:
A SYMBOL.
Look at all four.
Write them down or screenshot them.
Somewhere on the map is a randomized chart containing rows of these symbols. The chart itself can appear in several locations, including Spawn, the freezer/break area, or the upper Ops Center.
You’re looking for:
THE ORDER OF YOUR FOUR SYMBOLS.
🧠 12. SOLVE THE FLOPPY ORDER
This sounds worse than it actually is.
Look through the symbol chart.
Read the relevant chart:
TOP → BOTTOM
LEFT → RIGHT.
Now ignore every symbol you don’t have.
The first symbol on the chart matching one of your four disks is:
💾 DISK #1.
Next matching symbol:
💾 DISK #2.
Then:
💾 DISK #3.
And finally:
💾 DISK #4.
Example
Imagine the chart effectively reads:
★ — △ — ♢ — ○ — X — □
and your disks are:
□, △, X, ★
Ignore ♢ and ○.
The order would therefore be:
★ → △ → X → □.
That’s the principle—not an actual game solution. Your symbols are randomized.
🤖 13. INSERT THE FOUR DISKS
Return to:
🤖 N31L.
There are four floppy slots beside him.
Insert your disks:
1 → 2 → 3 → 4
according to the chart.
Correct?
N31L activates.
Except…
🤖 N31L HAS GONE COMPLETELY INSANE.
Doors start slamming.
Traps activate.
The facility begins fighting you.
N31L.
Buddy.
Remember Spaceland?
We were friends.
🌌 SPACE GOT HIM.
I TOLD YOU.
😂
🔴 14. STEAL THE THEATER BUTTON
Take the Entangler through the portal into:
🎬 THE THEATER.
Look behind the cardboard Brute standee.
There’s a:
🔴 RED BUTTON.
You can’t simply pick it up normally.
Grab it with:
🌀 ENTANGLER.
Carry the button to the concession/arcade area.
Find a:
🎬 THE BEAST FROM BEYOND POSTER.
Use the Entangler to launch the button into the poster.
If you lose the button, it respawns at its original Theater location, so the run isn’t ruined.
🩺 15. MEDICAL BAY SECRET BUTTON
Head into:
🩺 MEDICAL BAY.
Find the force-fielded room containing the desk with the floppy disk.
Go prone in front of the desk.
Underneath it is:
🔘 A HIDDEN BUTTON.
Interact with it.
This opens the panel containing our next puzzle.
And oh boy.
🎛️ SIXTEEN SWITCHES.
🧠 16. THE 4×4 SWITCH PUZZLE
Inside the room containing the dead Cryptid is a panel with:
16 HANDLES.
Some begin:
➖ HORIZONTAL.
Others begin:
↕️ VERTICAL.
Before touching anything:
✍️ WRITE DOWN EVERY HANDLE THAT STARTS HORIZONTAL.
Seriously.
Take a screenshot if necessary.
That’s the information you need.
🎛️ 17. SOLVE THE SWITCHES
Now interact with:
ONLY THE HANDLES THAT WERE ORIGINALLY HORIZONTAL.
Here’s the trick:
When you move one handle, other handles can rotate too.
Don’t let that fool you.
Continue interacting with the positions you originally recorded as horizontal, even if their current orientation has changed.
After you’ve worked through your original list, check the board.
If some handles remain horizontal:
FLIP THE REMAINING HORIZONTAL ONES.
Repeat until:
ALL 16 ARE VERTICAL.
When every switch is vertical—
🤖 N31L IS HACKED.
And our robot buddy stops trying to murder us.
Excellent.
Friendship restored.
🤖❤️ 18. ESCORT N31L
Return to N31L.
Now we have to move him.
But N31L doesn’t simply follow you.
His movement is controlled by:
👀 WHERE HE’S LOOKING.
Position yourself so his gaze directs him along the route.
Guide him through the facility and eventually toward the:
🎥 PROJECTOR ROOM COMPUTER.
🚨 19. POINT OF NO RETURN
⚠️ STOP BEFORE FINISHING THE N31L ESCORT.
Once N31L reaches the projector-room computer and the sequence is activated:
YOU’RE GOING TO THE BOSS.
So this is your preparation checkpoint.
Get your perks.
Pack-a-Punch.
Stock ammunition.
Finish anything you care about.
And remember:
THE QUEST WAS THE EASY PART.
The boss is why Beast from Beyond has its reputation. Community players consistently describe the quest itself as short but the final encounter—especially the Mammoths—as the major difficulty spike.
When you’re ready:
Finish escorting N31L and activate the computer.
👽 20. BOSS FIGHT — PHANTOM RHINOS
Welcome to:
👽 CRYPTID HELL.
The first major phase throws:
FOUR PHANTOM RHINOS
at you.
Keep moving around the arena while defeating them.
Don’t burn yourself out mentally here.
Because these four are basically the game saying:
“Would you like to see the tutorial version of what we’re about to do to you?”
😂
Once all four are defeated:
🌀 PORTALS ACTIVATE.
🌀 21. PORTAL BANK #1
One side of the arena has a bank of portals.
The portals begin activating in a sequence.
Your objective is to correctly interact with/shoot the required portal targets as the sequence progresses.
Complete the first bank successfully.
Then:
🌀 THE OTHER SIDE ACTIVATES.
🌀 22. PORTAL BANK #2
Repeat the portal sequence on the opposite side.
Pay attention to which portals activate and complete the pattern correctly.
Once both banks are handled:
ALL PORTALS BECOME PART OF THE NEXT STAGE.
And because apparently two walls of portals weren’t enough…
now we have monitors.
🖥️ 23. THREE MONITORS
Complete the portal sequence while interacting with the:
🖥️ THREE REQUIRED MONITORS.
Successful completion moves you into the survival portion.
And suddenly—
⏱️ 99
appears.
Oh.
That’s never good.
⏱️ 24. SURVIVE THE “99” COUNTDOWN
RUN.
Seriously.
Your objective here is survival.
Cryptids flood the arena while the countdown progresses.
Keep moving and use the arena space rather than getting trapped against walls or portal structures.
Players still regularly identify this countdown as one of the major failure points of the encounter.
Eventually:
99 → … → COMPLETE.
And then…
silence.
Surely that’s it.
…
THUMP.
Oh no.
🦏🔵 25. THE MAMMOTHS
Two enormous blue:
🦏 MAMMOTHS
enter the arena.
And these are the real final bosses.
They have enormous health pools and can leave dangerous persistent blue-fire areas around the arena, so positioning matters enormously. Community advice consistently emphasizes keeping those fire zones away from the routes you need for movement.
So:
❌ DON’T PANIC AND STAND STILL.
❌ DON’T LET BOTH CORNER YOU.
❌ DON’T FILL YOUR ESCAPE ROUTE WITH BLUE FIRE.
Instead:
🏃 KEEP ROTATING.
Create distance.
Use open sections of the arena.
Attack when you have safe openings.
🦏 26. MAMMOTH #1 DOWN
Focus your attention enough to remove one Mammoth from the fight.
🦏💥 ONE DOWN.
And suddenly the arena becomes dramatically more manageable.
But don’t get greedy.
One is still plenty capable of ending the run.
Continue controlling the remaining Mammoth and the arena hazards.
🦏💥 27. FINAL MAMMOTH
Keep moving.
Wait for safe damage opportunities.
Avoid the blue-fire zones.
Finish the second Mammoth.
Eventually:
🦏💥 MAMMOTH #2 — DOWN.
And…
🎬 CUTSCENE.
You did it.
🔑 SOUL KEY #5 ACQUIRED.
Unlike the earlier maps, Beast’s ending automatically transitions into the completion/cutscene rather than requiring you to walk over and manually collect the Soul Key afterward.
🎬 28. THE END OF WILLARD WYLER?
With the fifth Soul Key obtained, the crew finally turns the tables on:
🎬 WILLARD WYLER.
The ending leaves Wyler trapped inside his own movie world while the crew escapes, bringing the normal five-map storyline to its conclusion.
So let’s review.
🎢 Spaceland: aliens.
🌲 Rave: murderous slashers.
🥋 Shaolin: Rat King.
☢️ Attack: radioactive kaiju plus a chemistry exam.
🚀 Beast: Cryptids and two enormous Mammoths.
🎬 NOTHING GOOD HAPPENS IN A WILLARD WYLER MOVIE.
CASE.
